The following
were taken after the first deer hunt held at
Lewis
Morris County Park, Morris County, NJ
These
photographs document what happened to one deer killed at Lewis
Morris Park.
- The
first image shows a large splattering of blood against a tree.
The deer banged against it while running away after being shot.
- The
second and third images show how she lost pieces of herself as
she ran.
- The
third is a picture of what hunters leave behind after gutting
deer.
- The
fourth is a deer bait pile from Lewis Morris that was left on
the border of a Jockey Hollow National Park.
This
was done to lure the deer away from Jockey Hollow so they could
be killed in Lewis Morris.
